Blessings for the Home

This piece portrays the blessing for the home written in both English and Hebrew. 
There are many layers of depth to this piece, which connects multiple concepts to one unity. The background geometric array is called "The flower of life". It is formed by overlapping circles and is a symbol and blessing for Shefa (Abundance). Within the many lines are hidden hints to the platonic solids, as well as the array of the 10 Sefirot, which are found where the lines intersect. 
 
The level above this, accentuated in gold, is a fragment of the geometry of the 231 Gates. The 231 Gates are the 22 letters of the Hebrew Aleph Beis arrayed in a circle and connected to each other through lines. The 231 Gates is a meditation brought down in the Sefer Yetzirah as a meditation for Creation.
 
The main focal point of the Shape is the Star of David, where the Blessing is inscribed. Each point of the star is divided into 2 sections, representing the 12 tribes where our nation stems from. Each of the 6 points of the star correspond to the 6 emotive attributes, with the 7th represented in the center of the star, where the blessing resides. 
 
This piece brings in the the blessings of Abundance and Creation, connecting to and bringing in the memory of our anscestors.
